Pucker Up for Erivan Yogurt

Wow, Erivan Yogurt is the sourest yogurt I have ever ingested. It is also very, very thin. Since I was not paying attention when I bought it, I assumed it was Greek yogurt. Ooops. Totally the opposite of the super thick style. That said, I thought it was really good. I mixed in two heaping teaspoons of fig jam, and th resulting sweet and sour combo was superb.

One thing to be aware of is that this yogurt is made with whole milk that is unhomogenized. The fat supposedly gathers at the top so you can scoop it out for lower fat yogurt, but I didn't notice any cream.

Pros: Mixes well with jam; very high in calcium, acidoplius, and enzymes; comes in an 8 ounce container, unlike most yogurts which are only 6.

Cons: Lots of fat (2/3 of it is saturated); no fiber.

I purchased my 8 ounces for $1.39 at Fairway, my local grocery store. I think I would buy it again.

I've never posted a comment on a blog before, but i love erivan yogurt so much, and i've just moved to oakland,CA and cant find it anywhere! Not at whole foods or even the local store that has 15 different kinds of organic tomatoes...is there any other brand that is comparable? I've tried several, but none have that thin, sour quality...

This won't truly have success, I think this way.

I eat this yogurt - 16 oz. of it - every morning for breakfast. It keeps me full for hours. I am so addicted to it I know where to get it in every city when I travel. Whole Foods has it around the country; Fairway has it in NYC.

There are a lot of arguments in favor of whole fat yogurt. You cam find many on the Erivan website. Anyway, it really is fabulous.

This yogurt cleared up my stomach, intestinal-digestive problems that I have been plagued with for many years. The bloating is gone and my tummy is flat once again. It also cleared up my skin.

It's also the best tasting yogurt ever. I never knew yogurt could taste so good until I tried Erivan.

I also feed it to my toddler twins every morning with fresh organic blueberries on top. They love it.

Sometimes I also sprinkle freshly ground organic Flaxseed on top and add a cup of sliced fresh fruit. This has boosted my immune system and I feel sooooo much better.

Erivan is the only yogurt you need to consume. I am convinced it saved me and my 2 babies from getting the Flu this year since we eat a cup every day.

If your grocery store doesn't carry Erivan Yogurt you can ask the store manager to carry it.

It's what "real" yogurt tastes like.
Most yogurt today is nothing more than "thickened" milk (not to mention some stupid sugar fruit syrup added). Almost no culture in it. This stuff has real tang.
Don't buy Erivan unless you want "REAL" yogurt.
